This is why St. Martin Pharmacia supported the ProAm Challenge by Adifex in 2023 — a charitable tennis event that traditionally brings professional players and amateur tennis enthusiasts together on the same court.
The seventh edition took place on 9 December 2023 in Bratislava and offered a day dedicated to tennis, sporting encounters, new connections and, above all, a charitable purpose.

ABOUT THE EVENT
Professionals and amateurs on one court
The idea behind ProAm Challenge is simple yet distinctive: to create doubles teams in which a professional tennis player partners with an amateur player.
The one-day tournament is played in a doubles format, but sporting competition is only one part of the event. Since its beginnings, ProAm Challenge has combined tennis, new friendships, professional connections and charitable support.
The 2023 edition featured well-known personalities from Slovak tennis, including Magdaléna Rybáriková, the Kučová sisters, Michaela Hončová, Chantal Škamlová, Igor Zelenay and Karol Beck.
THE PROAM CHALLENGE TRADITION
A project bringing tennis together since 2017
ProAm Challenge grew out of a passion for tennis and the idea of creating an event with meaning extending far beyond the sporting result itself.
The first editions established a tradition in which professional athletes meet amateur players in an entirely different environment from conventional professional tournaments. It is not only about the result of a match, but about the shared experience, new connections and the community built around sport.
The 2023 event marked the seventh edition of ProAm Challenge in Bratislava. Throughout the years, the project has remained true to its main pillars — supporting sport, connecting people and providing charitable assistance.
SPORT FOR A GOOD CAUSE
Supporting children with heart conditions
The charitable dimension is not an addition to ProAm Challenge. It is one of the fundamental ideas behind the project.
Proceeds from the 2023 edition supported the Children's Cardiac Center Foundation and its work helping children with heart conditions.
The event also included a charity auction featuring items contributed by athletes and partners. Through the auction, the seventh edition raised €5,350 for a good cause.
It is precisely this ability to combine a sporting experience with tangible help that made supporting the event meaningful for St. Martin Pharmacia.

For St. Martin Pharmacia, supporting ProAm Challenge was a natural extension of a view of health that does not end with products or with a visit to the pharmacy.

By supporting ProAm Challenge 2023, we became part of a project that brings these values together in a single day — professional sport with amateur enthusiasm, competition with a friendly atmosphere, and sporting performance with support for children and their families.
