An evening for the pharmacy community
On 26 April 2024, the historic Moyzes Hall in Bratislava once again welcomed pharmacists, pharmacy students, academics, partners and friends of the profession.
The third edition of the Pharmacists' Ball, organised by the Slovak Pharmaceutical Students' Association, continued a new tradition that began in 2022 and quickly became one of the most distinctive social events of the academic year at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Comenius University.
For St. Martin Pharmacia, being part of the evening felt entirely natural. Pharmacy is part of our identity, and supporting its future generation means supporting not only professional excellence, but also community, relationships and shared experiences.

St. Martin Pharmacia supported the Pharmacists' Ball 2024 both financially and by contributing valuable gifts to the raffle, while also enjoying the evening alongside students, colleagues and members of the pharmacy community.
AN EVENING AT MOYZES HALL
Elegance, music and pharmacy beyond the lecture halls
The formal evening opened with addresses by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Comenius University, Prof. Ján Klimas, Vice-Rector of Comenius University Assoc. Prof. Radomír Masaryk, and President of the Slovak Pharmaceutical Students' Association Zuzana Majsniarová.
From there, Moyzes Hall belonged to music and dancing. The live band Party Leaders accompanied guests through waltzes, polkas, cha-cha and more contemporary rhythms, keeping the dance floor busy from the very first songs.
The programme also included a folklore performance and a vocal performance by one of the students. Later in the night, DJ L.Co took over the music and kept the celebration going into the early hours.
The evening was complemented by refreshments, two dinner services and sweet tartlets provided by Vesnala Pharmacy.

SUPPORTING FUTURE PHARMACISTS
A partnership that feels meaningful
St. Martin Pharmacia became a partner of the Pharmacists' Ball 2024, supporting the event financially as well as contributing gifts to its extensive raffle.
Among the prizes provided by St. Martin Pharmacia were beautiful fragrances by the French perfume house Chabaud, together with other carefully selected gifts from the world of our perfumery and apothecary.
For us, the partnership was about more than having our name among the event's supporters. We enjoyed the evening alongside students and members of the pharmacy community, and it was a reminder that beyond science and professional expertise, pharmacy is above all a world of people.

MORE THAN 190 PRIZES
A raffle that filled an entire laboratory beaker
One of the highlights of the evening was the traditional midnight raffle, which grew to more than 190 prizes in 2024.
Interest was certainly not lacking — so many raffle tickets were purchased that the organisers collected them in a ten-litre laboratory beaker. A detail that could probably only happen at a Pharmacists' Ball.
The proceeds from the raffle also supported a good cause, turning the draw into more than simply part of the evening's entertainment and bringing the community together through charitable support.
We were delighted that gifts from St. Martin Pharmacia were among the many prizes and that Chabaud fragrances found new owners among the future pharmacists attending the evening.
